Overview.

Sakisa Energy & Technology Group is broadening its positioning from a solar company to an integrated energy, water and technology solutions provider. The website needs to carry that shift: a clean, modern and technical corporate presence that presents seven service areas with equal weight, gives the Sakisa team full control of content, and converts visitors into quote requests. Atlas already works alongside Sakisa on LinkedIn, and this proposal sets out how we would deliver the redesign of sakisa.co.za.

Scope.

The website will comprise up to 24 pages: Home; About Us; seven Solutions pages (Renewable Energy & Power, Water Solutions, Heat Pumps & Thermal Solutions, Energy Management & Power Quality, Grid Infrastructure, Embedded Generation, Operations & Maintenance); Sectors; Projects and Case Studies; Technology Partners; Resources and Insights; Contact; Request a Quote; and the required legal pages. Solutions and Sectors pages share a consistent template so the site can grow without redesign.

Included in the build:

  • modern UX and UI design working from Sakisa's existing look and feel concept and website brief;
  • full mobile and tablet responsiveness;
  • a content management system the Sakisa team can update without technical help;
  • individual service and sector pages;
  • a filterable projects and case study section;
  • a blog and resources section;
  • quote and enquiry forms with email delivery;
  • WhatsApp click to chat integration;
  • SEO friendly architecture;
  • Google Analytics 4 and Search Console setup;
  • performance optimisation for fast load times;
  • SSL, daily backups and security provisions;
  • and an architecture built to expand as Sakisa grows.

Platform.

The site will be built on Next.js, hosted on Vercel with Cloudflare in front, and managed through a headless content management system. This gives Sakisa a fast, secure site with no plugin maintenance, no licence fees at launch, and an editing interface built for non technical users. Content types for case studies, blog posts, solutions and sectors are set up so new entries follow the approved design automatically.

Investment.

Website design and development investment, excluding VAT
ItemAmount
Design and discovery: brief review, sitemap, UI design of Home and three page templates, four design revision rounds includedR6,000
Development and CMS: up to 24 pages populated with supplied content, case study and blog functionality, quote and enquiry forms, WhatsApp integrationR14,000
Technical foundation: SEO architecture, Google Analytics 4, Search Console, redirects from the existing siteR5,000
Quality assurance, launch and team trainingR2,000
Total website design and developmentR27,000

Design and development are quoted together. The design component is shown separately above for transparency. Additional design revision rounds beyond the four included are charged at R550 per round. Copywriting is not included; where Sakisa would like Atlas to write new content for the repositioned site, this is available at R750 per page or R9,500 for the full set.

Combined engagement with Google Ads

Atlas has separately proposed a Google Ads engagement to Sakisa. The technical foundation work above forms part of that engagement's setup phase. Should Sakisa accept the Google Ads proposal, the technical foundation line falls away and the website total reduces to R22,000. Any further technical work completed under the Google Ads engagement that overlaps with this scope will likewise be credited against this quotation, so Sakisa is never charged twice for the same work.

Timeframe.

Five weeks from receipt of content.

  1. 01

    Week one:

    discovery and sitemap sign off.

  2. 02

    Week two:

    design and revisions.

  3. 03

    Weeks three and four:

    development and content population.

  4. 04

    Week five:

    quality assurance, training and launch.

Sakisa supplies copy, images, project details and partner logos using a content template we provide at the start; the timeline moves in step with content delivery.

Hosting and maintenance.

01

Hosting and care

R950 / month

managed hosting, SSL, CDN, daily backups, uptime and security monitoring, platform updates, one hour of content changes

02

Growth

R2,950 / month

everything in Hosting and care, plus unlimited articles formatted and published each month, quarterly SEO review and performance tuning

Unlimited article publishing each month

Hosting is included in both plans; there is no separate hosting fee. Maintenance begins the month after launch and is billed monthly, or annually at a ten percent discount.

Third party software and licences.

None are required at launch. The platform, content management system, analytics and WhatsApp integration all run on free tiers sufficient for Sakisa's volume. Should Sakisa later want automated WhatsApp responses through the WhatsApp Business API or a premium form tool, these would be quoted separately.

Payment structure.

50%On signature
50%On launch

Fifty percent on signature to begin discovery and design. Fifty percent on launch. Pricing is valid for thirty days. All figures exclude VAT.

Next step.

Sakisa's look and feel concept and website brief will guide the design direction, and we would welcome them as the first step. Reply to this proposal or contact Ofentse Thulare at ofentsethulare@atlascg.co.za to begin.
